Revolution Gunite was born from our parent company, Clearwater Construction Group, Inc., with the purpose to serve other contractors by providing top-notch dry-mix shotcrete services for industrial applications, infrastructure, and pool construction.
OUR SHOTCRETE PROCESS
We prefer the dry-mix method. With a plant we built of our own design, we can create mixtures that produce the highest quality concrete for any industrial and residential project.
Our drivers deliver exact quantities of materials metered by our calibrated volumetric batch trucks, so that the builder only pays for what comes off the truck and no more.
With numerous American Concrete Institution (ACI) Certified Nozzlemen on staff and a team of highly qualified Shotcreters, we are prepared to handle projects of any size and technicality.
QUALITY CONTROL LAB TESTING
Research and Development (R&D) are essential to exploring inroads to better concrete and better application. To have a successful R&D process, innovation, testing, and Quality Control all become integral and interdependent to a Comprehensive Laboratory Evaluation.
To ensure that both our material and our process are of the highest quality, our team of experienced technicians employs meticulous lab testing methodologies to analyze the key properties of our concrete and our shotcrete processes. Compressive tests for strength, pull-off tests for bond quality, and gradation testing for aggregates are among a few of the test procedures we perform in our lab.
Innovative Mix Designs
The cement industry is changing everyday due to new environmental policies. Raw materials including cements, supplementary cementitious materials, and aggregates, are regularly tested to verify what we deliver is what our customers want and meets these policies. Quality concrete is more than just the cement. We design aggregate blends through gradations that enhance the properties of the concrete and the application. Our shotcrete process reduces rebound and shrinkage while increasing compressive values of the concrete.
Mix designs are tested on a regular schedule by casting cylinders and shooting test panels, which are then cored to evaluate unit density and compressive values.

CLASSROOM and FIELD TRAINING
Proving quality isn’t just about a great product. Having qualified and well-trained staff are essential to success in our mission.
Everyone on our Shotcrete Crews have experienced the ASA Nozzleman Education Lecture and have read the CP 60 Shotcrete publication from ACI. Our nozzlemen have proven their understanding of this education through written and performance exams.
Further field training is employed on-site for all staff, from the nozzle to the truck. Our dedicated classroom is utilized for safety meetings and training sessions. All of these efforts combined are what separate us from the competition.
